Don Gates and the Timekeepers are now back on Thursday Nights at Coopers Ale Works. They used to be there on Thursdays then were moved to Tuesdays now their back on Thursdays. Don Gates and the Timekeepers are always Don Gates smashing on the drums and Greg King wailing on the Bass and each week he has a special guest. Last night was an outstanding return with a couple of special guest. Dee McFarlane playing the Hell out of the Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals and his wife Sandy playing Keyboards and Vocals. They played Classic Rock starting out the night with two songs by The Moody Blues, then playing everything from Jimi Hendricks to Barry McGuire’s Eve of Destruction to Pink Floyd. It was as if I was listening to Classic Rock Radio but with a live band. I had a most wonderful time and can not wait to see who Don has playing with him next week.
